DESCRIPTION:The Men’s Insight Group is a group of 10 to 12 men who gather weekly in the evening at the Ann Davis Transition Society Administration office to share and discuss matters and issues that affect their daily lives in a confidential setting. \nThe goal is to promote and raise insight of men in their relationships in their families\, at their workplaces\, and in the community. \nTopics include: \n\nhealthy relationships\,\nuse of effective interpersonal communication skills\,\ntaking ownership\,\nbuilding self-esteem\,\nviolence and abuse in any environment\,\nthe building of solid and effective intrapersonal communication skills\,\nrecognizing negativity and use of constructive and anger-free ways to resolve conflicts.\n\nMen come and share their daily experiences in every aspect of their lives\, the facilitator provides psychoeducational guidance for the meeting.
